Well, let me just say that the months of February and March 2011 have not been very kind to me as far as my Sims go.
I am struggling yet again with my Legacy. I can play the game now without it crashing, but I can not save. So really what is the point in playing the dumb thing if I can not save the progress I have made.
I tried to then play Poppy Petals. She’s been on the back burner for a while now ( I haven’t played her since the pre-Ambitions days. When I tried to click into her file I was told I did not have an expansion pack installed that the game required. BULL CRAP! I don’t know what I will do about her. I may try and remake her to play on my laptop.
So, I guess the only thing left to me is to reinstall my games. Problem is, my game disks are on loan to my sister in-law who lives a wee 3,ooo miles away. Ho hum… So now I wait until I can reinstall. I am not giving up on my games, they will be continued. It may take a couple of weeks tough…
Until then I plan to play a mini-challenge on the laptop. I will post here once the new challenge blog is up and running. A copy of this post is on my Food Legacy and Poppy Petals blogs.
Edit: My new challenge will be a Family Man Challenge at Wilde Oates.
;_; Hope everything will be okay with your game! I had a launcher problem before, I’m glad I never expiernecd anything like this. *Note to self, never buy anything that EA releases at first…. * EA sucks a lot sometimes… >.<
Thanks, I hope it will be too. Looking on the bright side-ish, at least this forces me to try another challenge. I was enjoying the Foods so much that I couldn’t dedicate time to Poppy. But now I am starting a Family Man Challenge and hopefully Wilde will prove to be very entertaining.
I wish sims were all my March Madness Madness issues. (Double the Madness cos I preggy and have to move out of our current house by the 27th.)
I hope things get better because I could totally just dive into a good legacy read (they’re so better than books)!!
I’m selfish, I know.
Moving while pregnant? Doesn’t sound fun. Remember, no heavy lifting. Leave it to the men, it’s makes them feel useful. 😉 I hope to be up and running again soon. My Wilde Oates blog will be up soon, I just need to get more pictures.
The irony is my cousin is about ready to pop and moved to a different state. At least I’m going to be staying within the same city! Small blessings, right? =3
No kidding. We moved to the other side of the country before I was pregnant and that was a nightmare. I feel for your cousin, but you’ve gotta to what you need to do. Good luck to both of you with your moves.
oh… hope you get your computer problems sorted out soon… Good to know you’re still here!
I am determined to finish this legacy even though it is taking ages! The Hubster has plans to build me a new computer so once that happens hopefully it will be smooth sailing!
